The 2013 issue of Interweave Knits Holiday Gifts is out today - yes, it may seem early to be talking holiday, but if you've ever tried to knit your whole family Christmas gifts, you know September's not that early to start at all - so you should pick yourself up a copy at your nearest purveyor of yarny things! (Or, you know, right here in the online Interweave store.)
Not only is it full of projects that make great gifts; you may find yourself wanting to knit for yourself, too! I have my eye on the Leeward Pullover by Amy Keefer...
I'm also posting about it because if you open up your copy to the very last page, you'll see an illustration I did for a sweet (and sad) story by Nancy Tips called Confetti Socks: A Meditation. I love working with Interweave and their publications and I'm very happy to have had the chance to illustrate the holiday issue story. It never ceases to give me a little thrill to see my work in print!
Interweave Knits Holiday Gifts 2013 should be on newsstands until early December, but grab your copy sooner than later so you can get a head start on gift knitting!
